El Salvador has signed a regulatory agreement with Paraguay to enhance cooperation in the cryptocurrency sector. The agreement, formalized between El Salvador’s Comisión Nacional de Activos Digitales (CNAD) and Paraguay’s Secretaría de Prevención de Lavado de Dinero o Bienes (SEPRELAD), aims to detect and control unlicensed crypto operations while strengthening anti-money laundering practices. CNAD President Juan Carlos Reyes emphasized the importance of sharing expertise to foster innovation and ensure financial integrity.
